The Fat Restaurant

Ever had a reminiscent feeling of being in an antiquated house with a mouthwatering gourmet dish? This restaurant will definitely give you that impression and will not ruin your trip.
The restaurant was named after the owner’s grandson and started out as a cafe, which eventually grew and became what it is now. It used to be known as “Makati’s best kept secret” but due to it’s growing customers, it has become famous  just by word of mouth.
Here's a quick tour of bistro:

This is the receiving area.

A perfect table for four or five people in the corner behind the door, near the receiving area.

This part of the restaurant looks like what used to be the dining room. It best suites customers who are groups of 3 but they can always rearrange the tables for a bigger group.
When it comes to the menu, they have a variety of gourmet food that is served.

Prices in the menu ranges from Php100 up to Php330. That is affordable for gourmet food, right? The food they serve is quite tasty as well. One beverage i would recommend is the Pitcher Iced Tea. A tingling sour but sweet taste will fill your taste buds with delight.
Mmmm.... Just looking at it ,makes me thirsty.
For appetizers, they have Kesong puti rolls. Kesong puti is cheese made of carabao's milk, salt and rennet. It's a soft, white cheese with a creamy texture.

They also serve pasta, savory dishes, kebabs and pizza.

Another observation on the restaurant is that they cook slow. This is also their motto so don’t go there with an empty stomach. At least eat something light while you’re on your way there, like bread. Or another choice would be to make your order ahead of time. You can call them at 843-1953. By the way, you can only go there if you made a reservation. They don’t accept walk-ins. This place is near Evangelista area.

Fat Michael’s Restaurant can be located in 115-A E. Rodrigez St. corner Gen. Lacuña St., Bangkal, Makati City.
